DAY 01 ISTANBUL
After your arrival we do your transfer to hotel. You have the day free to begin exploring Turkey's cultural capital or to relax at your leisure. Dinner and overnight in hotel Included Meals: (breakfast & lunch)

 

DAY 02 ISTANBUL
Departing in the morning from the hotel. Discover the classical highlights of Istanbul: the Roman Hippodrome, Egyptian Obelisks, underground cistern adorned with classical columns, the magnificent Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque You will also visit the jeweled interior of the Topkapi Palace. In the afternoon, you are free to explore the labyrinth tunnels of the Grand Bazaar that houses more than 4, 000 shops. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel. Stay overnight in Istanbul, hotel included Meals: (breakfast & lunch)

DAY 03 ISTANBUL - ANKARA
After breakfast we drive to Ankara . Arrive the capital of Turkey. We visit Anitkabir Museum, a vast mausoleum built for Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic . Our next stop, the Anatolian Civilizations Museum , the finest collection of Anatolian works and remains. At the tours end check-in hotel. Overnight at Ankara. DAY 04 HATTUSAS - AMASYA
Departure in the morning. Visit the sanctuary of Yazilikaya, Hattusas, Lions Gate, Grand Temple at the former capital of the Hittite Kingdom. we drive to Amasya. Visiting Hazeranlar Mansion, Amasya Castle, Rock Tombs and nature along the Yesil River. We see the water walls which is belong to a legend of Ferhat and Sirin's love story. Overnight at Amasya. Included Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

 

DAY 05 SAMSUN - ORDU - GIRESUN
After breakfast, departure to Samsun which is one of the biggest city of Northern Black Sea. We have a sightseeing in Samsun and visit arceological museum especially the mosaic floor that was discovered at Amisos (ancient city of Samsun) after lunch drive to Ordu. while enjoying the impressive combination of the nature, forest and black sea. Visiting the church which is built by King of the Pontus Farnakes I. The Amazons has been used the church as a temple. Later we will watch the city Ordu bird's-eye view from Boztepe (485m). After visiting drive to Giresun. Overnight in Giresun. Hotel included Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

 

DAY 06 GIRESUN - MAÇKA - SÜMELA - GÜMÜSHANE - ZIGANA
Departing in the morning from the hotel. we visit Giresun Castle, then ( As an optional alternative we can visit the tomb of The Lame Osman who was the one of the famous person of the City Ordu during World War I). our journey takes us through the spectacular scenery of the Pontic Mountains as we make our way inland up a narrow valley to the Sumela Monastery. Seeming to cling to a sheer rock face high above steep and heavily wooded slopes, the monastery was founded in the 6th century to house an icon of the Virgin Mary, supposedly painted by St. Luke the Evangelist. The monastery was inhabited by Greek Orthodox monks until 1923 when the Greeks were expelled from Turkey in an exchange of populations. The monastery still contains many frescoes of Biblical scenes.

Later on we drive you up to Zigana Mountain, crossing the mountain with spectacular views of villages on Pontic Mountains. We arrive at Gümüshane to visit Karaca Cave, considered the most beautiful in Turkey for its colours and formations. DAY 07 TRABZON - UZUNGOL
After breakfast we drive to Trabzon the birth place of Suleyman the Magnificent. In the 13th Century, Trabzon was the centre of a prosperous Christian empire and contains some beautiful churches, including the beautiful church of Hagia Sophia. built in the mid 13th century as a monastery church and later converted to a mosque after the Ottoman conquest of 1461. Later used by the Turks as a military storehouse and a fever hospital, it is now a museum with magnificent frescoes covering its walls. Outside the city we will visit Ataturk's beautiful summer mansion situated high on a hillside overlooking the Black Sea. Then drive to Uzungol. It's a hidden paradise in the Pontic Alps. We hike around the lake and village. After this nice experience check-in hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel included Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

 

Day 8 RIZE - CAMLIHEMSIN - AYDER
Today we are leaving from Uzungol. Short break at Rize for panoramic view of the city from the Botany Garden, we visit kiwi and tea plantations here, then we arrive to Firtina (Storm) Valley which takes us to Ayder Plateau. Before arriving in Ayder we will see Camlihemsin, Senyuva Bridge, we arrive in Ayder before sundown, gentle trekking to Gelintulu Fall which is the most beautiful in the region. check-in our wooden hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel included Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

 

Day 9 AYDER - SARP - TRABZON
Today we have time to explore that beautiful Alpine Plateau is Ayder until noon. Traditionally dressed village ladies, thermal spring, waterfalls dropping down from hundreds metres and beautiful plateau houses are going to be interest of you. In the afternoon we drive to Turkish - Georgian border on Eastern Black Sea coast, after viewing Georgia from Sarpi Gate, we drive along the Black Sea coast back to Trabzon Airport for a homebound flight and say farewell.
